Sculpture. The only constant.

At the beginning, two concepts: humanity. Truth.

I have moved through them, dismantled them, questioned them, searching for what remains when definitions begin to dissolve. Body and soul. Instinct and consciousness. Animal and spirit. The human being is never one: it is multiple, mutable, shaped by memories, desires, and transformations.

Sicily is the matrix. A land where the sacred, myth, and matter coexist, where the visible retains traces of the invisible. A place where ritual, symbol, and nature still belong to the same landscape.

From this emerges a contemporary mythology inhabited by archetypal creatures. Presences that surface and seek a form. I encounter them. I trace their genealogy, their transformations, their mutations.

The Disgrabeide, Mater Natura, Erbaluce, and the other figures belong to the same ecosystem. Creatures suspended between animal, plant, and human, capable of being seductive and unsettling, familiar and incongruous at once. Through them, myth also becomes a way of observing humanity, its contradictions, and its relationship with the world around it.

Resins, fur, feathers, glass, aluminium, and objets trouvés are assembled like remnants, relics, artefacts.

Each work adds a new inhabitant to the narrative. No form is definitive. No identity is.
